Travelling to The Gambia

From The Netherlands you can travel to The Gambia with, amongst others, the following tour operators:

Olympia International holidays (www.olympia.nl),

Sunrise (www.sunrisetravel.nl),

Sky International Tours (www.skytours.nl) ,

Travelpoort (www.travelpoort.nl) and

GoBest (www.gobest.nl).

The flight from Amsterdam- Schiphol to the modern airport Yundum International Airport Banjul, situated in the capital of The Gambia, takes approximately six hours. So to Banjul the flight takes only 90 minutes more than flying to the Canary Isles.

Airlines:

Transavia flies on the Mondays (and in the period between December and march also on the Thursdays) from Amsterdam, usually with a tank stop in southern Spain or Tenerife, with a Boeing 737 to Banjul. Please note that you will have to pay extra for snacks and drinks onboard.

ArkeFly flies every Friday directly from Amsterdam to Banjul with a Boeing 767. ArkeFly does so on ‘All inclusive’ basis, which means all meals and (non-alcoholic) drinks are already included in the ticket price.

SN Brussels Airways flies every Wednesday and Friday from Brussels to Banjul
